Orbea’s new Rise H10 electric pedal-assist bicycle has an aluminum frame and comes equipped with a new 540Wh battery. The simplicity of the system has been increased for those looking for a light Ebike with which to do long routes without a Range Extender. The new battery has a record weight of just 2.7 kg.
Like its carbon sister, the Rise aluminum’s power comes from an EP8 RS motor, developed in exclusive collaboration between Orbea and Shimano.
Orbea has achieved in the frame polishing process a technique that softens the welds of the tube joints, which equalizes the aesthetics with a carbon frame. In fact, it is really difficult to differentiate an aluminum frame from a carbon one.
